Osaka, Japan

We help Japanese manufacturers sell beyond Japan.

Many small Japanese producers make excellent products and have never exported one. Kasuga Bridge works on the Japan side of that gap — assessing readiness, preparing export documentation, and coordinating with overseas partners in English.

What we do

Three services, all aimed at the same outcome: a Japanese company that can operate internationally on its own.

Export

Overseas expansion support

Market and channel selection, buyer and distributor search, pricing and Incoterms, export documentation, and coordination with forwarders, customs brokers and importers of record.

Assessment

Export readiness assessment

A structured review of whether a company is actually ready to export — production capacity, labelling and regulatory requirements, pricing tolerance, and the internal capability to handle overseas correspondence.

AI

AI adoption and training

Our domestic practice: helping Japanese SMEs identify which parts of their work AI can take over, and training their staff to run it. Delivered as e-learning and advisory.

Working with us from overseas

If you are an importer, distributor, agent or service provider dealing with one of our client companies, this is what our role looks like.

We are the Japan-side counterpart

Most of our clients are small producers whose staff do not work in English. We handle correspondence, gather the documents you request, and make sure requirements are understood correctly on the Japanese side.

We prepare and check documentation

Commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, ingredient and manufacturing statements, and the supporting paperwork required by the destination market.

We do not act as a carrier or customs broker

Transportation and customs clearance are carried out by licensed providers under their own contracts with the shipper. Our fee covers documentation support and coordination, and we do not mark up freight.

We work to the destination market's rules

Regulatory requirements are confirmed with the relevant authority or a qualified specialist in that market before shipment, not assumed from the Japanese side.

Background

Kasuga Bridge was founded in 2026 by Masato Sannomiya, who has spent more than twenty years in international trade and logistics — the practical end of it: documentation, freight, customs requirements, and the day-to-day correspondence between Japanese shippers and their counterparts abroad.

That experience is the reason the company exists. The obstacles that stop a small Japanese producer from exporting are rarely about the product. They are about paperwork, language, and not knowing what the other side needs.
